Clear fees, no surprises
Our fees, fully transparent
No hidden fees: this is exactly what RIIVA charges on each ticket, how it is calculated and who pays it.
- Fees are calculated on the ticket price excluding tax (excl. VAT), never on the organizer's VAT.
- Free event: no fee.
- By default the buyer pays the service fee. The organizer can choose to cover it ("all-inclusive price").
- RIIVA fees are a service subject to VAT: fee incl. tax = fee excl. tax + country VAT.
- Payment fees, once enabled, will appear on a separate line.
Tickets up to 1,000 XOF excl. tax: flat 50 XOF fee, whatever the category. Fee excl. tax = rate × price excl. tax + fixed, bounded by the minimum and the cap.
The RIIVA team may assign another tier to a specific event (e.g. a community festival in Community).

Mahtos Solo: create your account, then link your company
Mahtos Solo is your single identity. By linking your Mahtos company to RIIVA, you gain power:
Linking is done in your organizer space, Settings tab, once your account is created.

- 02Invoices and accounting aligned with your Mahtos company (excl. tax and VAT separated).
- 03A more credible organizer profile for the public and partners.
- 04Centralized management: events, stock and invoicing from a single account.
Make a sponsorship request
RIIVA can back your events: visibility, graphic design, on-site teams, logistics, introductions. Here is how:
Discover sponsorship- 01From your space, open "Sponsorship" then "New request".
- 02Present your event as a project: date, cause, audience, stakes.
- 03Choose the support you want, or let RIIVA make you a proposal.
- 04Talk with your sponsorship officer; RIIVA answers at its sole discretion.
Submit your request at least 21 days before the event. No request constitutes a commitment by RIIVA.
Good to know
- 01Organizer access is validated by the RIIVA team.
- 02Each event is reviewed before publication.
- 03Mobile Money payments are confirmed by you, on the buyer's proof: you stay in control of your collections.
- 04Service fees follow the public grid above and are recomputed by the server on every order.
- 05You can raise a category's capacity at any time; it cannot go below the seats already sold.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Mahtos Solo account?
Yes, it is what creates your RIIVA account. Linking a company is not required to start.
Can I sell free tickets?
Yes. A free event carries no fee.
Who pays the service fees?
The buyer by default. You can choose to include them in your price.
How long does validation take?
It depends on the RIIVA team in your country; you follow the status of your request in your space.
